Dr. Saleh is an Associate Professor in the School of Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Tech. He received his masters degree from Harvard and PhD from MIT. Prior to joining Tech, he served as the Executive Director of the Ford-MIT research partnership ($15m/5years). He served as Associate Editor of Reliability Engineering and System Safety and the IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems. Dr. Saleh is the author two books and 75 journal articles. He is Associate Fellow of AIAA and Senior Member of IEEE. He has received several awards for teaching and mentoring at Georgia Tech, including the Outstanding Faculty Award, the Lockheed Dean’s Excellence in Teaching Award, and the Class of 1940 Roanne Beard Outstanding Teaching Award. His research cover three themes: (1) spacecraft reliability and multi-state analysis; (2) analytical systems engineering, with a focus on its temporal dimension; and (3) multidisciplinary accident causation and system safety.
